Special Needs Support
Botho University believes in inclusivity and equal and fair access without any bias based on gender, race or disability. There is a dedicated unit under the Student and Alumni Affairs for providing support to students with any form of learning or physical disability from the time they apply to the University all the way to graduation. The institution currently has the capacity to admit students with special needs to our custom-built campuses. We have highly experienced special needs officers who provide the following assistance:

- Advocacy for disability-friendly facilities & services (For eg: access to ramps, lifts, reflectors on staircases, extra time allocation during exams, teaching aids, enlarged fonts for all reading materials etc)
- Facilitate Assessments for students with Special needs accommodating their requirements.
- Act as a liaison with all relevant stakeholders
- Sensitization & Support to Lecturers and other support department at the University
- Provision of dedicated space & relevant equipment to students with special needs
- Psychosocial Support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children
- Training and capacity building on special needs services
